I specialize in motorcycle photography because I like bikes. I spent six years racing motocross, and when I stopped racing I went back to the track with a camera and began contributing photos and stories to several motorcycle magazines. A few years later one of the guys at Honda’s advertising agency noticed my photographs and gave me a chance to shoot my first national print ad.

Since then I’ve traveled all over the country working with great creatives to produce advertising and collateral images for companies like American Honda Motor Co., Yamaha Motor Corp. USA, Kawasaki Motors Corp. USA, American Suzuki, West Coast Choppers and Nikon. In 1998 I began shooting motion film and video and I've directed and shot national TV spots and running footage of sportbikes, cruisers, ATVs and even watercraft for Honda and Kawasaki.

As much as I love shooting motorcycles, I find that the people who build them, ride them, work on them and race them are even more interesting than the hardware itself. Among the personal projects I’m currently working on are a series of portraits of motorcycling icons like Malcolm Smith, Roger DeCoster, David Bailey, Jesse James and Shinya Kimura. I also continue to contribute editorial photography to many of the industry's leading enthusiast publications including Cycle World, Motorcyclist, Moto Retro, Outrider, Racer X and Sport Rider Magazines.
